2. Pontiac Firebird Trans Am (1977-1979)

Pontiac sold thousands of its Firebirds in just a couple of years, partly thanks to the huge success of the movie Smokey and the Bandit. These muscle cars were insanely popular, but they fell out of fashion in the 1980s and 1990s.  Nowadays, high mileage models can be purchased for $15,000 while pristine samples with low mileage cost between $30,000 and $60,000.
