Ladies and gentleman get ready to witness the world’s biggest street engine that is powerful beyond any measures you can imagine and can be mounted on a car! Yeah, what if we tell you that it is powerful two times more than Bugatti W16 quad-turbo 8.0-liter engine?
And how is that possible? The answer is simple. This art of engineering to happen it demands passion, dedication, hard work and not willing to quit after 20 years development! This guy from Denmark has all the attributes and skills, Peter Thau. This massive engine comes from his mechanics garage which is shaking when the engine is started!
At the beginning he started small and was building an engine half the size of this one that he has today. Today he has 1001 cubic inch V8 (16.5-liter) and if it’s mounted on the car this engine can develop 1600 hp and 1400 lb-ft of torque. His hugeness surpasses the 8.0-liter 16-cylinder Sonny Racing Engines and it is the first V8 engine with 1001 cubic inches displacement standing on the top.
Play the video and see and hear how the engine is singing in the garage and how it shakes the foundation where it’s mounted. So that’s the result of 20 years of development, Piranha engine!
i wonder how it would be like when mounted on a 4 wheel… 😉
My guess is : badass machine with monstrous power! 😀
