It’s not an everyday situation to see 2001 Chevy Duramax stuck in a mud but who knows what these guys were doing with this Chevy and stuck it in the middle of nowhere covered all with mud. Probably the owner of the 2001 Duramax, as you can see later in the video is young guy who bought it for 9,000$ and took it on an adventure.
We know that under the hood of the 2001 Chevrolet Duramax is the LB7 engine with 6.6-liter displacement, V8 configuration of the cylinder and can pump 235HP and 500lb-ft of torque. It’s a little bit strange who he stopped there maybe the terrain was so muddy and the trees from the sides didn’t allow the truck to slide left or right and fight the way out. Probably he didn’t want to risk it all and broke the truck there.
When the girl from the BSF Recovery Team asked about the modifications he said that it has 50HP injectors, boost increased valves and PB tune. Not bad but the driver is inexperienced!
Just look at the rescue vehicle, a tow GMC truck dating from the early 80s and probably packing some muscle engine under the hood, 7.4-liter V8! It is looking naïve at the beginning but the engine sounds speaks a lot. Once it starts you’ll see how with ease the GMC tow truck is executing its towing task, yeah, to some point. From here is getting more interesting because the 2001 Duramax is attached for the GMC towing truck and lifting its front tires, so there is no traction and they got stuck, both!
If you’ve watched some of the BSF Rescue Team videos you know that they are all from real life and real old school off roading. Don’t miss this amazing video, hit the play and enjoy it!
