Here’s what a 2015 HPE800 Z06 Corvette looks like showcasing 800HP on an airstrip. The Hennessey performance team tests this corvette from 0 to 175 mph and the sound is exactly what you would expect from 800 HP – pure muscle and power.

The car is shot from multiple angles which perfectly capture the acceleration and you can almost feel what it’s like to be next to this vehicle. Had wings been installed at this speed and power output and the car would literally take off. Thanks to the aerodynamic drag it manages to stay on ground and only give us a glimpse of its top speed. But the one really enjoying it is the test driver pressing the pedal and handling the speed on the empty airstrip. This Corvette by Hennessey Performance speeds through like a bullet and we can only imagine what it would be like to drive this on an empty highway. We wish we knew more specs for the tuning of this car besides its horsepower output however Hennessey performance is keeping that information for a future video.
