One Of A Kind Race! 550 HP Lamborghini Gallardo vs Lightweight RC Car!!!

What’s more exciting than racing? The guys from Nitro RCX put the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 on a trial against their Badass Mad Drift and let them loose on a 300+ feet runway. Shooting the event, they managed to create a fantastic video!

By releasing their 1/8 scale platform on road car Exceed RC have definitely raised the stakes. The result of that was the tiny titan called MadDrift Brushless Drift Car. This little monster is ready to hit the streets right out of the box, but is able also to flaunt with its distinctive look that will leave the competition buried in the dust. In this case, the victim that fell down was the raging bull Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2.

If you are not familiar with it, the R/C cars for drifting are designed for passage of a line in a controlled drift. The RC Drift model features a more accurate copy number of the body, compared with the aerodynamic bodies of highway models, a suspension tuning, and a copy number of wheels with tires for greater rigidity.

However, this time Nitro RCX crew decided to use their R/C drifter for a slightly different purpose than drifting.

For RC Drift are mainly used models with electric motors, since the use of the internal combustion engine is meant by the use of an air-cooled engine, which is not possible at low speeds of the discipline. Electric engines, in the discipline, allow to get rid of such persistent problems as overheating of the engine, refilling the tank, corrosive exhaust gases and noise indoors.

So, the only reason that this tiny RC is so fast in this drag race is because it is light as a feather, together with its nitro boost and the fact that it is electric. With that in mind, this R/C car has way more power to weight ratio. Still, the guys from Nitro RCW stated that in the long haul the Lamborghini would have obviously won. Out of fairness for both cars, they did a 500feet run. Maybe a better launch control on the Gallardo would have been a photo finish in the race.
