This is a street-legal 1973 Dodge Challenger with a 383 cid stock block engine capable to produce solid figure of 1000 hp. It was built by the tuning shop SDCE located in East Providence, Rhode Island.
The engine is supported by a custom SDCE Mopar supercharger system with ProCharger ATI D3M head unit. Due to this, the car has been constantly abused on the racing track and the street from 2000 until 2010. In 2010 it was converted to run with a big block.
So during those 10 years the car had under its hood the 383 cid block engine. However on March 30, 2010 the shop of SDCE was severely flooded, so after ten years of merciless abuse, they decided it was finally time to say goodbye to the big block 383.
At the moment, the car is able to run consistent 8.50 seconds on the quarter mile at a speed of 158 mph.
Here we have a great video footage featuring the Challenger back in 2007. In it you will witness the incredible amount of power that this car has. We hope you enjoy watching this amazing muscle car!
