News on the model Viper continued to appear since Dodge released the 22-minute long video documentary that shows the design of the model, its development and performance.

In this 22-minute footage is immortalized the stage of the American supercar. It’s nice to watch, but the movie takes less than 22 minutes, so prepare yourself some beer and popcorns 🙂

Called ‘Dodge Viper: DNA of Supercar’, this clip gives us a glimpse as 3700 parts are assembled to create a Dodge Viper model.

The video also shows some interesting anecdotes such as the fact that 48% of the exterior of this model is made of carbon fiber and that 90% of the interior of the vehicles is done by hand using natural premium leather. It is also interesting that each Viper is hand-painted, which took between 140 and 160 hours of work.

Let me remind you about few figures on the Viper SRT. The engine is naturally aspirated, petrol V10 with a capacity of up to 8.4-liter, capable to produce power of 645 hp and torque of 814 Nm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, and the drive goes to the rear wheels only. The maximum speed of this supercar is 330 km / h.
