We’ve all heard of going mudding in a diesel truck. But how about for mudding on a diesel powered lawn mower? How does this idea sound to you? We would have never believed it until we saw it! This guy on the video below is driving a 1975 Sears Suburban lawn mower powered by a 10 hp Launtop engine.
It is not clear whether his lawn mower is stock or he modified it a bit, although our guess is that it is definitely modified to a certain extent for mudding purposes. You might notice that those stock tires are pretty BIG for a lawn mower. The owner removed the actual mowing part as well as the brush guard.
What’s actually quite amazing is just how good these powerful lawn mowers drive through some pretty deep mud trails. The two owners got them into several feet of deep mud and pulled through without a problem!
I would love to see them at some southern U.S. mud bogg event to see how they really do!
