Amazing VIDEO! Building Aluminum 427 FE Engine Block from SCRATCH! American Manufacture AT ITS BEST!

All the time when we speak about the performance of cars we mention the engines, especially of muscle cars, big block engines, small block engines etc. But have you ever asked yourselves how are they actually made? Yeah, we hear all the time custom made aluminum big block engine but let us tell you something, for sure it demands a precise engineering in the production process so the engine can reach the desired performances.

We were searching on the internet to bring you the best possible step by step procedure how the block of the engine is actually made and we found Kirkham Motorsports University with detailed video explanation of how it’s done.

It all starts from aluminum square that weights nearly 400 pounds which is precisely processed with CNC machine in order to be reached the desired shape, displacement and other engine details which for some of them we didn’t know that even exist.

At the end of good old American manufacturing with the CNC machine the “block” loses nearly 70% of its weight and weights just 64 pounds, but don’t think that it is an easy work to be done, on contrary it needs knowledge and precise engineering!

Now watch the video and see the whole procedure step by step explained in details.
