This Volvo probably was driven by a middle aged guy that doesn’t want nothing else than steady ride and getting where he wanted to go. But when the garage guys got their hands on the Volvo 122, they really wanted to do something amazing with it and they pulled it off.

Somehow they built a massive and powerful V8 engine, but the thing that makes this engine special is that it is a two stroke engine. The main difference between two stroke engines and four stroke engines is that the two stroke has much greater RPM and therefore it generates double the horsepower than the four stroke.

The other thing about two stroke engines is that they will pick up speed much faster than the four stroke, because they burn the fuel more efficiently, but also wasting a lot more gas than the usual engine.
