The engine of this Nissan GT-R that set a new record is V6, twin turbo engine. Not too big right? Well the results are here after hard work from the team and the knowledge of the driver. On Saturday the driver did some driving on the ½ mile track, and he measured speed of only .2 mph over the old record.

Next day he set the new record for ½ mile track in the first run. Absolutely insane. Maybe the garage guys tweaked something after the first day, something that they knew it would enhance the power of the engine. Well they did a great job, they hold the new GT-R ½ mile record, and they should be proud of that.
