Here is something to get you going and make you feel the adrenaline rush that only a great drag race can give to any real Gearhead, as you are about to watch one really great drag strip face off. The main roles are for the ‘Italian stallion’, the 50th Anniversary Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4, versus the legendary Japanese rocket-sled, the one and only Nissan GTR R35. I think that regardless of whether you are a fan of one of these race monsters, or you are a hardcore Detroit muscle aficionado, you are going to enjoy it.

As some of you may know it, this model of Lamborghini Aventador was not produced in a large number of units (only 200 were made), so it really is a rare opportunity to see it on the strip. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine that gives a total output of 720 HP (which comes about 20 HP more than the regular Aventador model), and has a great launch control and acceleration from o to 60 in less than 3 seconds.

On the other hand, even though we know that it is tuned and modified, we do not have the exact data about that GTR R35, so we will not get into any speculations about it. But we all know well that it is a car that is not ‘afraid’ of any opponent, right?
