Clash of the titans ladies and gentlemen, and where else if not in Mexico, the paradise for street banned trucks. An exhausting battle between EFILive tuned 2006 Duramax versus 617HP 5-speed Cummins on tight open road.

Cummins fans are going to love this battle and the Duramax will hate it looking for reasons to discredit the honest win. The race started on a little distance from the camera and it seems like the 06 Duramax with EFILive tune took the lead at the beginning. Not so long after the initial start the 617HP Cummins overcame the 06 Duramax and started to create a gap between them, yeah, it started losing the Duramax in the smoke behind.

At the moment they were passing exactly in front of the camera the Cummins lead was obvious and the Duramax was slowly staying behind and the next moment we could only see smoke and one pair of taillights. You can guess which taillights were lost in the smoke!

If we examine their performance levels, on one side we have the Cummins with 617HP and 06 Duramax with 350HP stock performance. With the EFILive tune with the stock parts can be pumped additionally 300HP (maximum). So if we consider that they’ve added at least 200HP they are equal opponents and no one takes the advantage here.

Maybe it’s up to the driver’s skills there on the race. Who knows what really these monsters are packing under the hood, but one thing is for sure here the 617HP 5 speed Cummins won that battle and the 2006 Duramax with EFILive tune should settle for another round and prove its skills to us.
