Drag racing is all about the speed of the car and sometimes there are cars that go head to head and finishing really close and what is more rear is to finish in the same time as your opponent.

This is maybe one of the closest race that you have ever seen. This race took place at the TX2K event, one of many in Houston, TX , racing all over the city. At the beginning of the race the two opponents did a little burnout and the crowd is literally two feet behind them so they go “crazy”, after that the two cars bring their tires on the red mark and they were waiting for the flag to go down.

As soon as the flag was down they struck like lightning and the blue car had a better start then the black one but soon enough the black car cached up and they were going head to head with each odder and right before the finish line the black car made a few inch pass on the blue car, beating him for a fragment of a second. I don’t know what the judges have decided at the end but for me the black car was the one who finished firs.

It is really unusual and rear to see car finish that close in a drag race!
