A ‘Cuda with a drag racing history is something that we don’t see every day. This 72 ‘Cuda has a winning history behind her. Elaine Thomas is one of the proud owners of this 1972 ‘Cuda. This is a custom build car that it’s only purpose is to win.
Most of the car is custom build as I said before. Under that hood we can find a 411 c.i. 340 engine with a TD Rocker Assembly, Mopar 340 R3 Race Block Mopar W9 Heads, Mopar Intake P5007420, Custom Dome CP Pistons/Gas Ported w/ GP.P aluminum Rods, Xceldyne Ti. Valves, Custom Cam to BMRE Spec. An Indy Belt Drive Timing System, Callies dragon slayer crank, crank trigger, Peterson 5 stage dry Sump system and Steff’s oil can. That is everything that you can wish for in one super drag racing car. We can see that this ‘72 Cuda is made by people who know what they are doing and that is made with love and passion and that is why maybe it has such a long history behind her. In just a few races (highlights) we can see that this beast dominates on the track and beats everything that comes up against and no other car can get close to her.
I hope in the future I’ll see more cars like this. Not just made for one season or one race, but made to make history.
