DOUBLE CLUTCHING Explained By THE EXPERT HIMSELF!!! How Does Double Clutching Work And Is It Necessary? FIND OUT HERE!

Having a car with a dual clutch is so good and the drivers who have it know what we are talking about. But what about the technique with double clutching and why it is done? The double clutching is needed on cars that don’t have synchronizers with the manual transmission. There are all the steps explained in the video made by the well-known YouTube maestro Engineering Explained and also we will see the pros and cons of doing it.

The best way to do it in a car without the dual clutch is while downshifting a gear. Imagine driving your car in fourth gear and you need to place it in third. Now the first thing to do is what you normally would, release the gas pedal. Then press the clutch and put the gear stick in neutral and then release the clutch. You already know where this is going, if you are a bright gearhead that is. This has to be a very smooth and quick process and you should not forget it when downshifting the other time.

Now the best thing or the best step comes in the process. Because you are downshifting a gear the engine needs to meet the speed of the transmission. That’s why you need to hit the gas pedal so that the engine will rev a little bit. Then press the clutch and place the third gear in spot. That is the whole process of the dual clutch and it might sound a little hard to it but this is the easiest way and after you learn it you will not be thinking of it at all.

You are going to downshift a gear like a boss and when you rev the engine to meet the transmission speed it is going to sound cooler than a GTR burnout. The first try will not be successful, try it multiple times.
