I know that from the title you will say that there is no way that an old timer like the Plymouth Barracuda can get even near to a modern supercar like the Enzo Ferrari. But today we are at the Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan to test the limits of these two cars and see which one will show better performance.
Just to say from the start that the Plymouth Barracuda is not an ordinary ‘Cuda. LMC’s Legendary Team made a great deal of changes to this ‘Cuda to make it as it is for today, to even have a small chance to try to go up against the Enzo Ferrari. At the start of the video we can see that the Chelsea, Michigan Proving Grounds are checking if the ‘Cuda is not just another pretty face in there garage and to see if she can really go on their tracks. After seeing that everything is alright the race started.
The first few laps were just to feel the ground and the track, after that the hammer was dropped and they started the “race”. At the first official lap the ‘Cuda had much better start then the Ferrari, due to the turbocharged engine but it had another problem. Due to high speed, the side of the ‘Cuda’s windshield snapped and the lap had to be stopped. The second run was better for both cars. And the Enzo Ferrari proved that he is a bit faster than the ‘Cuda and made a new track record of 218 MPH and the ‘Cuda hit an astonishing 208 MPH.
