OMG! Are You Ready for the World’s Fastest Supercar? Meet with Hennessey Venom GT – 270.49 MPH!

There are fast cars and there are fast cars, and this one that you are about to see in these three videos below, is sitting at the very top of them all. It is the Hennessey Venom GT, the supercar that gave us the new world record for the fastest 2-seat sports cars, achieving a top speed of incredible 270.49 mph. This historic event took place at the John F. Kennedy Space Center, on the Space Shuttle landing track back in 2014, and if you ask me, there is not a better place for a car like this.

In 2013, the Bugatti Veyron set the new world record for the fastest open top car, but there were some irregularities and inconsistencies which later on became a topic for all sorts of discussions. Here we do not have that problem, everyone who needs to be there is present and therefore, this Venom GT’s record is clean as a whistle.

On the first video you can see how this incredible record has been set, the second one is also another interesting experience on a road, just near the legendary track in Silverstone, England, where the Hennessey Venom GT is doing a little road test. The third video is shot at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California, where this supercar also achieved another one track speed record of 265.7 mph. So I strongly recommend that you watch all three of these videos and enjoy in the power of this unbelievable car.
