On the “hot” side of the turbine framed with a GReddy downpipe, and on the “cold” – an air intake system from the same manufacturer. After compression, the hot air enters the three-row intercooler GReddy and later in a large Nismo intake manifold. The compressed air should be flooded with HKS components of the cylinder head. SP Engineering conjured over its bore on both sides and polished the most important areas. The high valve springs and HKS retainers connected with 264-degree HKS Step-1camshafts, help to quickly deliver compressed air to the combustion chamber. The entire burden of high pressure from the compressed air was taken by the 1.2-mm head gasket HKS rods and ARP.
The specialists from SP Engineering did not spare also the issue of enrichment of the fuel-air mixture, a key parameter in a medium with high blood pressure. A fuel pump from Titek Innovations was installed, as well as 700 cc HKS injectors and HKS fuel highway. The HKS Twin Power DLI-II ignition is responsible for igniting the mixture. The HKS electronics conducts the orchestra. For this purpose, SP Engineering have chosen the HKS Mixture Controller (Controller of the air-fuel mixture) and the EVC-VI boost controller.
