When the Project “Sick Seconds” 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was bought by Tom Bailey from Denny Terzich, the new owner was in a search for a certain way to somehow facilitate the completion of his racing plans back in 2012. This was supposed to be doneby purchasing a car which was already customized for street use. Denny Terzich built this car in order to make a 6-second run on HOT ROD’s Drag Week. In spite the good intentions of Terzich, he never actually managed to do that in competition. The project managed to make a 6-second run while testing it, yet unfortunately not at Drag Week. This is why when Tom bought the shining gold 1969 Chevy Camaro, he also purchased some heavy expectations along with it. Plenty of racing forums were expecting a lot from him and weighing Tom’s chances.
