THE MODERN VERSION OF THE PONTIAC GTO “THE JUDGE” Is Here! What Do You Say Muscle Fans?

We were asking this question when we saw the Pontiac: Is there any living been on the US continent who doesn’t remember the legendary 1969 Pontiac GTO The Judge?

The chances are very small but if you don’t really know it here is what you missed. The 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge belongs to the second generation of the family. For many this car started the trend for all four domestic automakers to offer a variety of competing models. In 1969 the GTO was sold in 72,287 pieces from which 6,833 were with Judge Package. This model came with upgraded engine Ram Air III rated at 366HP and the highest was Ram Air IV with 370HP. The engine was 400ci V8, rated as the most economic between the muscle cars engines! But, that’s enough from the historic aspect, let’s see what this modern Pontiac GTO Judge has to offer.

Actually it is not a real Pontiac car, it is based on the Camaro, designed by Trans Am Depot designer, Kevin Morgan. The car as a whole surprises with incredible symphony of the retro aspects and the modern technology with sharp and aggressive edges.

Play the video below to see the extraordinary design on the headlights and tail lights, it’s just amazing!

Just another Camaro in drag. Definitely an upgrade for the Camaro, but an insult to the Pontiac name.

Oh well, let’s hope we get to see more design ideas for the new Pontiac GTO.

Trans Am and Camaro have always been built on the same platform. From fender to rear quarters have always been the similar. The only differences are cosmetic….basically the same car. With the popularity of Firebird..you’d think GM would produce their own Trans Am….Could be built on the same assembly line. This GTO looks great from the front…wish they did more with the tail lights to distance itself from the Camaro.
