One of America’s most recognizable cars, the one and only 1957 Ford Thunderbird! The history of the Ford Thunderbird is truly impressive. This car holds a special place in the automotive history in the United States. Back in the 1950s this car was a symbol of class and elegance.
Mike Brewer set out for a trip to sunny California in search for a nice and of course, cheap sample of this automotive icon. His budget is a total of $ 25, 000. While searching on the net, he stumbled upon a suitable offer for a nice 1957 Ford Thunderbird. The owner asks $26, 000 for it, so Mike is going to see him and negotiate on the price. When he arrived at the dealer’s place, Mike was quite satisfied with the model that he found. The particular ’57 Ford Thunderbird was a California car with three owners so far. Under the hood of it was a 312 Ford Y-block engine with automatic transmission. The sharp body of the car was painted in an elegant raven black with colonial white rooftop. It seemed as Mike has found his perfect choice for the day. He paid the owner 16,000 British pounds for this 1957 model.
After all the job done by the skilled hands of his faithful friend and mechanic, Edd China, the car looked absolutely fabulous! Edd decided to add some luxurious elements respecting the innate nature of the Thunderbird. Back in the days the Thunderbird was a luxurious car, so Edd had to go with the character of this ride. As Mike said, there isn’t much that says about a 1950’s America than a Ford Thunderbird. It’s a designed classic with power and luxury to match its good looks. Together with all the expenses for the shipping, the new parts and the whole process done restoring this beauty, Mike and Edd spent a total of £25,120. Now all they got to do is sell it.
