MAN is the leading producer of truck engines, and once more they had to prove that. Now they have made the MAN 51/60G gas engine, and lucky for us we have the 3D animation of it, to see how it is working and how it is planned to produce power to be delivered to the wheels.

This engine, the MAN 51/60 is also available as a V-engine version with total of 18 cylinders and also an electrical genset with total output power of 18,465 kW. This equals to total of 1050 per cylinder, which is a great achievement done by the MAN team.

They have spent a lot of time of developing and testing this kind of engine, two times they had to go back to drawing board, erase the old drawings and start it all over again. That is why there was no room for mistake on this build, and they have done.

They have made an engine that has low fumes emission, gives great output power and is perfectly safe and reliable to be installed in one of their great MAN trucks and to deliver some heavy cargo around the glove.
