But it’s obvious that the Smart is not powered by the original stock engine. Instead, it uses 1.5-liter Toyota Paseo Engine with Sprintex Blower strong enough to make this tiny beast perform a wheelie.

On the first try on the drag race the Smart raced against Shelby Mustang and had almost the same time but the Mustang avoided being embarrassed on the track. But the Smart with the wheelie at the beginning succeeded to pass the track in 13.90@80.99mph and the Mustang pass it in 13.67@110.64mph. Can you see how small the time difference is?

Yeah, but on the second try the Smart pressed his teeth and showed them who’s the boss. And guess what, it didn’t risk with the wheelie at the beginning and kept the front tires on the ground and beat the modified Mustang.
