Boba Motoring is back ladies and gentlemen! And they are here together with their well known VW Golf Mk2 which has proved by now that is one hell of a tuned machine and totally ready to achieve the impossible on the drag strip.
This time our dear tuning friends from Germany decided to set out a new amazing record on the quarter mile test, finishing the run in 8,99s @ speed of 265km/h. This record does not surprise us at all, since we are well familiar with the hardware hiding and rumbling furiously under the hood of this monstrous street car. Boba’s Golf Mk2 is powered by a 4Motion 2.0L 16V engine capable to deliver impressive power of 1233HP together with a mind-blowing torque of 1094Nm at 64 psi. What holds the responsibility for the strength of the tuned Golf Mk2 is a turbocharger provided by Extreme Tuners, a company from the capital of Greece. Also, the CNC head porting comes from NG-Motorsports. The juice that this baby uses to astound everyone is the good old E85 fuel. And here are the results from the performance box:
0-100km/h in 2.3s
100-200kmh in 3,03s
200-250km/h in 2,5s
We can congratulate Boba-Motoring for doing a mighty good job. What do you think of this good old drag racing Golf? Check it out on the following video below.
