When a situation requires knocking down a building that is no longer needed, it’s always a good idea to bring on a professional to do the job. We may never know if that is the case here or not.

In an attempt to take down this smokestack, the unthinkable happened and it nearly resulted in a tragic accident. This excavator operator is truly lucky to stay alive! This will definitely be one experience that he will remember as long as he lives. First he tried to bring down the tower using only dynamite, but without any success. Then he brought an excavator in attempt to finish the job.

The whole incident happened during one of his days at work. While hacking away at one side of an old smokestack in order to bring it down, the operator managed to get exactly what he meant, but in a completely different direction. The tower start falling down, however the problem occurred when the structure fell right on top of the excavator, causing great damage.
