Tim Wellborn is probably the owner of the biggest muscle car museum as he has cars in his collection from the start date of production of the classic Barracudas and Mustangs all the way to the newest models. He is so proud to talk about the muscle car museum that he is going to tell us all about the classic cars and the classic muscle cars as well, the ones that are in his collection and also the ones that he is hoping to get.
Probably his favorite ride is the Dodge Charger R/T that he is driving at the beginning of the video. Making a car so unique is that you are having the NASCAR racing engine under the hood of some normal looking car. Now that is a good way to fool the opponent on the race, and that’s why they intended to do. Racing with a normal looking car at the championship would promote the car and it will sell better at the dealerships too. Back then the business was done better, from door to door and with TV commercials, with no hint of the internet like today.
The Wellborn muscle car museum has the best collection in the world. There are cars that are the rarest from the rarest as Frank Mecum says, from the Mecum Auctions. He seems in love with the cars at the museum too because he speaks with love for them.
There is a large number of Dodge R/Ts that can be found there and no place else. There is one R/T that has the DODGE DIVISION tag on it which is considered to be very rare as well. Visiting the Wellborn muscle car museum can be a life experience, seeing all the great muscle cars promoted there and kept as rarities for the next generations.
