it has been a long time since we have seen a Cummins drag truck to make the low 9s but here it is. The moment that we have all been waiting for. Even though from the outside the truck looks quite normal like the stock one, inside it has the monster of an engine. The Cummins has been proven to be the best diesel engine at the moment and it is going to keep that crown for a long time as many trucks equipped with this type of the engine are winning too much races.

The owner of the Cummins truck knows what he has in his hands and he wants to use it all the way. Stepping that gas pedal to the metal he is going to run like crazy on the drag strip at Tulsa Raceway Park. By the sound that is coming we can clearly hear that the whole exhaust system has been changed. Cut off from the block to the end of the tip, it is all custom made and it has that special Cummins ring to it as well. Most of the drivers will notice the Cummins engine from a long distance because of that ring.

Running the low 9s races is the ultimate achievement for the Cummins drag truck. It is a rare sight for the audience. They might have seen some crazy GTRs running the low 8s as well but for a truck it is a huge deal to make this time. Too bad that this truck is not a heavy coal roller because most of the Cummins trucks that we have seen are one.
