The Nissan Nismo 400R was launched in 1997 as a kind of celebration for the Skyline effort from 1995 to 1996, for the amazing GT-R models. The 400R is extreme vehicle that is lighter and faster from its previous models. The engine is also upgraded. It offers twin turbo RB26DETT engine that was produced by REINIK. This kind of engine makes the car hit top speed of 300 kilometers per hour and have a power of 400 horsepower. The torque is 347 lb ft. All of this make the Nismo go from zero to 97 kilometers in about 4 seconds. Of course like every car there is a chance that this vehicle is upgraded to even 500 horsepower, which will allow the Nismo 400R to hit a bigger number of top speed.
The vehicle is not only about speed. The view, the looks, the design and the style are also pretty good. As many cars they used carbon fiber for the interior and the rear spoilers were also made from carbon fiber. There were few aerodynamics upgrades added to this version, like wider fenders, side skirts, new redesigned bonnet, intercooler system, new front bumper and new rear bumper with bigger air scoops. We also find an upgraded oil system and upgraded twin plate clutch. All in all the Nissan GT-R Nismo 400R offers many upgrades. The vehicle was made to be quite better than the previous models. The company firstly planned to make 100 pieces of the Nismo, but they produced only 44 units because in 1998 they started to work on their new model Nissan Skyline GTR R33. However we present to you a video where everything is explained and showed in a great way. There are some things that we haven’t told you, just to watch the video and check out for yourself. Enjoy!
