This creative German named Frank Dose made what appears to be the largest bicycle which weighs less than a tone using two agricultural muck spreader tires and scrap metal. Frank lives in the small town of Schacht-Audorf near the German border with Denmark, and now he has become a true local celebrity after achieving the impressive feat.

Frank wants to break the Guinness world record, but to achieve this he will need to upgrade the weight of his bicycle in order for it to weigh 1,200kg and to ride 200 meters with it. “I want a four figures weight,” said the 49-year-old trucker from Schleswig-Holstein to the local media. On the construction of the bike was spent an amount of £3500. With his one of a kind ride, Frank made his wife Astrid very happy and proud. Astrid will be there with him to witness his attempt to break the world record. She thinks that the bike is sensational. Astrid feels quite proud and pleased that he has done it.

To recall, the current record belongs to the Belgian Jeff Peterson, whose bike’s weight is 860 kg.

On the next picture you can see how Frank’s neighbors help him load his gigantic bicycle on to a relatively small truck in the German municipality of Rade. It is quite obvious that the size and the weight of the bicycle speak for itself since it requires a truck to carry it. He started this construction in March this year and says the bike is surprisingly easy to drive. It remains a mystery how one can ride as the “bicycle” weighs 940 pounds…It’s kind of hard to believe Frank’s statement because this monstrous piece of machinery is just insanely huge!
