WORLD RECORD MR2 Toyota “White Lightning” With 1126HP Honda K20Z1 Engine Is ABOUT TO TERRIFY All Supercars!!!

The Toyota MR2 produced from 1989 to 1999 is one car that definitely does not get enough appreciation and respect in the car tuning community.  The Toyota MR2s were light, with mid positioned engine, and had lots of power under the hood. Nowadays these babies are getting more and more rarer, but fortunately back in 2013 the guys at RaceLAB got their hands busy and transformed this particular white MR2 Toyota into an absolute racing monster. Due to its outstanding capabilities this MR2 got a unique nickname “White Lightning” and the name suits it just right.

Having more than 1100 horsepower under its hood, the Toyota weighs only a shade over 2300 lbs, which means that every pony needs only to carry a little more than 2 lbs, and since horses are damn strong, this bloody thing will scream with hellish sound!

Folks, this is the Toyota MR2 that started it all! Back in 2013 these guys brought quite a heavy storm into the tuner community by making their first appearance at the FL2K13 automotive event. They managed to put down an impressive output of 1126 whp, and the result of their feat was nothing less than the highest horsepower street trim Toyota MR2 the world has ever seen!

We have to mention that this MR2 does not carry the original Toyota engine under its hood. In its chest you will find a transplanted Honda K20Z1 heart. For those of you who are not familiar with it, this is the same engine with only four cylinders that was installed in the 2006 Acura RSX Type-S. But, this one is boosted with a Precision 7285 turbocharger.

Wow what a beast!!!! We would love to see this MR2 race against the big boys and give them quite a surprise, Lamborghinis, Nissan GTRs, bikes and what else not! Bring ‘em on baby!

Check out this beastly Toyota MR2 on the video below as it opens a new chapter in racing history.
