Could you imagine the situation where the police set up a construction zone with construction trucks to slow down speeders?! No one today wants to get a speeding ticket but the very fact of this matter is that when a police officer pulls you over for driving above the allowed speed limit, he is only trying to uphold the law most of the time. So, this is a necessary evil in order to keep the public safe from any possible harm.
Now, normally, when the cops are out there on the roads, in search for any speeders they will perch themselves on the side of the road or in the center of the highway and run the radar gun out of a car that may or may not have police markings on the side. This time, they bring their hiding procedure to a whole new level and instead of just using an unmarked vehicle, they use an even more sneaky method.
Rather than finding some nice and hidden place with their police vehicles, the cops hide right in plain sight using construction trucks. Now, if they are trying to be secretive we can not really figure out why they would want this unusual story broadcasted on the news. Still, the spread of the news has really left this method of catching speeders open for public interpretation. As you could already imagine, the public really sounded off on this issue.
Now, the people of Lancaster county, in Pennsylvania really seemed to be polarized on this matter so we suggest you find out all the details of the Operation Orange Squeeze in the following video and give us your opinion. Is this the appropriate method of dealing with speeding drivers or are the police crossing the line for something as minor as speeding tickets? We leave that up to you!
Talk about feeling setup that is one very harsh way to get a speeding ticket!
