Well ladies and gentlemen, it seems that another revolutionary product arrives from Japan. The Japanese company Cocoa Motors has developed a street car that is so small that it fits in a bag with a laptop. The Japanese engineer Kuniaki Sato has created this motorized transporter with the size of a tablet.
WalkCar signed Kuniaki Saito and his team of engineers seeing that it is so compact that it might even be afraid to step on it..
The 2.5-pound means of transport is capable of carrying persons weighing 120 kg up to 10 kilometers. This range is allowed by the 3-hour battery charging. As in similar devices WalkCar is also controlled by moving the center of gravity from one to the other side. It stops as soon as you get off it. It is more stable than the competition, due to the four wheels. The “WalkCar” is made of aluminum and weighs about 2 and 3 kilograms, depending on whether it is an internal or an external version.
Kuniaki Sato said that the device is designed for recreational use and for business.
Now Cocoa Motors will all together give it to Kickstarter and if all goes according to the plan, WalkCar will be available next year for the price of about 800 euros. A little more expensive than a normal bicycle, but at least you can carry it in your bag.
