Just a small unintentional typo John. No need for any insults.

For all we know by now, the new 2016 Plymouth Superbird offers an excellent range of accessories, with a Magnuson supercharger, a coil-over suspension, single or dual turbo, and chassis bracing. This car can be ordered in distinctive colors of the car’s body. The release date of this new 2016 Plymouth Superbird is October, 2015. So, we should find out very soon about the engine under its hood.

These conversions were done by HPP a couple of years ago, this is not something that is being released. First off you can tell in the pictures it is a 08-14 style challenger that the conversion is based off of..not the new body style..and second HPP is out of business.

I thought Plymouth was out of business

It is Lee. This is just a concept car. Here’s more of what we found out about this car:

      Superbird Review
HPP’s first full vehicle concept is the Dodge Daytona, which is based on the Dodge Challenger.

Early in 2009, during a meeting with Mopar Officials, there was discussion of the old glory and historically significant Chrysler Vehicles of the past. After a lot of discussion the question was asked – “Hey, can you take a Charger / Challenger and
make a Superbird out of it, updated of course.” Wild idea we all thought, but HPP was up to the challenge!

After a considerable amount of brain bending, measuring, and a few cuss words for effect, the HPP team found a possible way to make it work. Immediately design drawings were developed and after a bit of design give and take, the first sketches were made that looked decent enough to ponder. HPP took a look at the final sketches to be presented to Mopar and we proceeded with a basic plan and quotation to build one car for the 2009 SEMA show.

HPP’s interpretation of the “new” Dodge Daytona was displayed at the 2009 SEMA show. This vehicle is the culmination of over 50 product changes, designed and produced by HPP and its partner companies. We will begin to offer some of these products in the Aftermarket in the first quarter of 2010, and we will be offering full vehicle conversions to individual customers, dealers, and corporations once we have completed our tooling and development testing
