The drag racing has spread in Australia too, now there are national races held there and the top cars and drivers get to show what they got on the race track. The races are held in the Calder Park Raceway in Australia, and the cars that are brought here for racing are a little bit older from the usual drag racers, but they are mean and powerful too. There is one blown Chevrolet SS that is making the fastest run on the drag race when nobody expected that.

On this SS there are massive rear tires mounted ensuring that maximum grip will be taken on the asphalt, no room for error there. There is also a drag racing bar mounted on the back bumper of the car, so that it will stay on the asphalt and not get airborne from all the HP coming from the engine.

Almost on any car there are parachutes mounted, so that stopping will be much easier and the team will not spend money on the brakes after every race, because these cars reach high speed in just 6 seconds of the quarter mile race and stopping is really hard with the brakes for the drivers.
