As the competition is getting tough these days and Fiat Chrysler Automobile revealed the plans for reincarnation of the legendary Plymouth Barracuda model, from Chevy don’t want to lose and waste time. The rumors from the company said that they are preparing and building the muscles of the new Chevelle to hit the market in 2016! We think it was time since the last Chevelle left the production line in 1977!
If you remember we already wrote about the new 2016 El Camino from Chevy who will come on the improved platform which is using the 2016 Camaro and the Cadillac CTS and ATS, yeah, it seems like Chevy wants to win the rivalry between the Mopars and the Mustangs.
Also the rumors said that the new Chevelle power plant will be the 2.0-liter Turbo I-4 engine with impressive outcome of 294HP, and mightier beast with 3.3-liter displacement V6 styled for unlimited performances.
Who knows if this rumors are correct, but for sure we’ll be amazed to see the new Chevelle which is claimed as sporty sedan with more aggressive lines hanging with the new El Camino and the new Plymouth Barracuda! That would be awesome, like he history is happening again. Watch the video below and tell us what you think about this concept Chevrolet Chevelle!
Chrysler brought back the 70 Challenger. …..made it look like a 70 Challenger.
Ford brought back the Iconic look of the 69 Mustang and made it look like a 69 Mustang.
Then GM brought back the Iconic 69 Camaro and made it look like a 69 Camaro.
Now this Chevelle doesn’t even resemble a Chevelle, it looks more like a cross between a Camaro and a Corvette that had sex and made a hybrid.
Any ideas for improvement that you could suggest?
The new Camaros NEVER looked like a 69 Camaro. I used to own a 69 Camaro, and ever since the release of the new Camaro I have hated it . You have hardly any visibility with the low roof ( yes I’ve driven a few of them ) and with the low roof the car looks fat.
I’ll just stay with my 71 Chevelle
I’m not going to buy aa reboot of a popular muscle car that sounds like a Honda.
Well we’re sorry you feel that way Austin. Let’s hope Chevrolet will improve the sound of this Chevelle.
