Let’s answer the first question. The clutch is the connection between the engine and the transmission. The clutch is the torque converter on cars with manual transmission. It is made from three components: clutch disk – rests between the engine’s flywheel and the pressure-plate. It rotates with the both, the engine and the transmission; flywheel – matting surface which is transferring the torque power, it is connected with the engine crankshaft and always rotate with it; pressure-plate – on the other side of the sandwich (flywheel – clutch disk – pressure-plate), bolted to the flywheel and rotate with the flywheel while housing the diaphragm disk.
