A team of engineers from New Zealand have prototyped a new way of making engines and a new way of how cylinders in the engine block would move and make power for you.

They say that they were inspired from the physics laws and they say that they are keen on breaking them and making a new way of creating power that refuses to bow to the physics. But will they be able to pull it out and find a partner that will give them money to develop their project to the very best shape.

Let’s see later on because there are too much people that are feeling pessimistic about these kinds of engines and maybe the New Zealand team will get frustrated in the future and leave the project. The Duke engines are an axial engines that have their cylinders not in a line, but in a circle and that’s what makes these engines so interesting.

They are light as well, like if you compare the same horsepower engine that has linear position with this axial engine you will see that the Duke engine is for 30% lighter that the normal engine. Check the video here:
