These loaded trucks are also called big rigs trucks, because they are massive and they carry massive engines inside them. There are many trucks doing burnouts on the drag strip, and they are just lovely to watch over and over again.

Too much smoke coming from the tires means only one thing, these engines are too powerful and too fast. The large trucks mainly have double rear wheel tires, because only one cannot hold the pressure that is created from the force, and it will be torn apart after few seconds of burnout. There are large cargo trucks being modified and tuned up, and they need to race.

These NHRDA races at the Texas Motorplex drag strip are interesting too. To see a large truck racing is great, but these races are a little bit slower than the races with smaller trucks. That is because these are much heavier than the others, and it takes more time for them to accelerate. But the burnouts from the large cargo trucks are far more interesting, because we have never seen before such a large truck to make a burnout.

They have also much bigger engines too.
