Rolling down the street in a cool sports car can always give you an opportunity to meet with another one (more or less) alike, and feel the adrenaline rush pumping through your system, give the other car’s driver ‘the eye of the tiger’, and there you have the race. Even though it is highly not recommended, dangerous (for yourself and the others), and maybe even stupid, it is known to be happening from time to time.
Here we have one such an example, a street battle between the legendary Ferrari F430, and one highly modified Mazda Miata MX-5, powered by LS1 engine! Unfortunately the whole thing is recorded from the Ferrari’s passenger seat, so we cannot see both cars very well, especially the Ferrari. But on the other hand, we can follow the race quite well, and from what can be seen, this little Miata is giving this mid-engined supercar quite a good race.
I mean, taking into an account several factors, a 2005 Ferrari F430 like this one is a sports car from a whole different class (higher one, of course), but the Miata MX-5 has nothing to be ashamed of. Check out the video and tell me what you think about it.
