In the seventh episode of the famous automotive reality TV show Overhaulin’ the creative hands of maestro Chip Foose got busy with some special details and turned this already nice 1970 Plymouth Barracuda into a true work of art. His intention was to combine the classic look of a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with some amazing Foose customizations and completely surprise the owner Cathi Bass.
Originally the car belonged to Cathi’s grandmother and after her grandma passed on she had the pleasure of driving it for 25 years. This car means a lot to Cathi because it symbolizes the bond she had with her grandmother. When she was much younger, Cathi used to rode around in the car with her grandma, so Chip kept the interior all stock to let Cathi feel the same car in which she grew up.
Modern, shiny and beautifully restored. It looks as if it was actually born that day. And you know what? It was. From now one it has a new spirit inside of it. The Foose spirit. Once again this extra-talented car designer together with his A-team has produced another beautiful automotive wonder. The final result left Cathi speechless. Way to go Chip!
