This video is about a furious project that every car lover would like to see. We see a UZ engine put into a Toyota Celica. It is simply amazing. Who would not want to see a supercharged 1UZ Celica? It is a car that we all would want to have. We can say that it has the looks and the power of a monster. Quite a sight isn’t it?

For those who don’t know the UZ is a family of Toyota V8 piston engines with 32 valves. They are basically made for sport vehicles as the one we see on the video. The 1UZ engines had their debut in 1989. It was released for Lexus LS 400 and Toyota Celsior. They have quite interesting design. In fact it is oversquare with a 87.5 mm size of the bore and 82.5 mm size of the stroke. These series of engines are shown as strong and trustworthy for the customers. The cam belt is running the water pump and they have used steel for the crankshaft and connecting rods. Another interesting fact is that the pistols are actually hypereutectic. This engine usually offers 290 horsepower and a torque of 300 lb ft. Being voted in “the 10 best engines in the world” list is just another reason why is the UZ trustworthy.
