The news is, no more Scion. From 2017 these cars will be produced under the name of Toyota. The plan of the Toyota company that was launched in 2013 was to hit the youngsters on the North American continent.

And they managed to do so as their cars had the youngest buyer’s average age of 36. It is possible that Toyota has seen some potential in this brand and that’s why they want to kill it, making the Scion cars now under the brand of Toyota.

It is almost certain that they will keep the Scion engineers and designers on board with Toyota because it is them who built the brand of Scion and they need to continue to build awesome cars for younger people. But don’t worry if you already own an older Scion because the Toyota company will be servicing your Scion, so don’t rush and sale the car because you will still have backup.

The Scion brand had some great cars in their production line, and from the 2017 take off Toyota will be making the same models too but this time with their badge on, because there will be no more Scion on the market.
