This kind of Samsung Smart TV will have the microphone always on and it will be listening to whatever you say in front of it. The microphone must be always on because when you say a particular phrase at the TV it will turn on by itself. This feature can cost you a lot because the built in microphone could be listening and the TV could be transmitting whatever you say next to the TV set.

Changing the basic functions like turning on and turning off from the stock ones is the best way too here as the microphone and the transmitter can be triggered from some stock commands that are written in the TVs manual description.

The best way of all is to go and to turn off this voice recognition feature and not to worry any more who is listening and where the voice will be sent. There is no problem when you turn off this feature because the mic will be turned off and it will not be listening all the time, like when it was on and it needed to hear your voice to turn on the tv.

The Samsung Smart TV is great and without this voice recognition is even better too as you will pick up the dial and turn it on manually, what a tough job.
