When it comes to cases that involve road rage, it would be justified to assume that the majority of such incidents are caused by people who drive along in the left lane and don’t allow the traffic to flow. There are basically two types of drivers: the ones who are fed up with people driving slowly in the left lane, and ones who do it all the time with no idea at all just how much they are upsetting everyone else in the traffic. In case you belong to the oblivious second group, here is some background for you: Each state in the U.S.A. has some sort of law which discourages people from traveling in the left lane on roads and highways with multiple lanes.

It’s not that we are never allowed to drive in the left lane, as long as we use it briefly, for passing only, then get back over.
