We have talked a lot of times before about the D-Wave quantum computer, made by the company D-Wave Systems and here we are talking about it again. It is no wonder that we have to mention this awesome device one more time because it is going to put under all the other PC in the world, making them look too damn slow. This is the Canadian brand for making a quantum computer unit and they are famous all around the globe.

The D-Wave quantum computer is so much faster than the “standard PC” is because it has combined a classic PC and a quantum processor inside the case. There are four units with total of 16 Xeon cores which are going to make all the difference in the world. These cores are making the data compatible for working with on the computer, computing it 10 000 times faster than the single or dual cores PC that can be found on the market. Faster than the i7 series as well, working at 3000 times faster rate. Now that is an accomplishment that is worth talking about.

There were many accusations about the D-Wave quantum computer made in Canada because most of the physicists were not taking it seriously. Saying that the D-Wave is not quantum and it will never be. But the scientists at the D-Wave Systems company that made it approached it in a very different angle. They said that the Xeon cores of the computer are cooled to the absolute zero point so that the noise from the surroundings is not going to affect the work of the cores and for the cubits as well.

The worst thing about the quantum computer that was presented by the D-Wave Company is that it costs around $15 million, and that is a little overpriced for the class that it is competing into.
