The creator and designer of this wonderful Yacht Club, the redneck Danny Kelly, was born in Southwest Florida, where he was also raised. He grew up there as a son of a potato farmer, and he also continued to grow potatoes for several years when suddenly he decided to abandon this tradition and devoted his time in their family company, Kelly Brothers INC. This is a marine contracting company that has been working for over 30 years and is specialized in governmental and commercial work.

Anyway Kelly’s passion has always been his toys. In addition to this he owned few buggies over the years and most recent the award-winning buggy – a custom built monster buggy.

Danny Kelly was always aware of the need for a private property which will give the space for off road tracks for the lovers of this sport. He knew this because he was always chased for trespassing with his buggies on other people’s properties.

He knew his former potato farm land would be a perfect track for the buggies he started the process and he got the approval in the middle of 2008. Now the Redneck Yacht Club is fully functional as you can see in this video:
