Next is the 3.6-liter V6 engine with 335HP and 284lb-ft of torque, and the last one is adopted from the Corvette family for the Camaro SS, the LT1 V8 engine with 6.2-liter displacement and 455HP and 455lb-ft of torque. Almost 80% of the installation is same as on the Corvette side. The manual transmission is adapted from the Cadillac’s Tremec 6-speed with a little different gear-set but same drive-ratio.
