Have you ever seen the largest running engine in the world? Well if not here is just an idea how “large” was the largest engine in the world back in 1932.

So the video shows a perfectly running engine that was used as a power grin during peak power periods in Denmark, and this engine held the place of the “largest engine in the world” for about 30 years, from 1932 to 1962. This is a diesel powered engine that uses enormous quantities of gas to run and it is producing over 22,000 HP.

As you can expect it’s not in use, but now and then they are turning it on just to kip it running and to prevent any problems, they are kipping it safe just in case for the future. This is a piece of history that should be taken care of so the future generations can see it so they will know how once our world was working. It is a big honor to be able to see this, even for us and for our generation.
