It is not a surprise at all that we saw the 1968 Mustang in Dubai. Where else would you see an expensive car like that? These people know what they want and what they are doing with their cars. It is not the most common thing to see there, but the classic muscle cars started to get shipped to Dubai and the Arabs really like them. They don’t care if the price isn’t right, they are going to pay for it anyway. Sitting on the side of the road, the 1968 Mustang looks more like a tribute than a real muscle car.

A tribute to the movie Bullit where Steve McQueen is starring. Well somebody had to do it, if not in America, Dubai is perfect. This is the car that is inspiring people to do what they are doing. The host cannot even believe that he is driving the 1968 Ford Mustang in the Middle East, but there he is with a smile on this face and an itch on his right leg.

Just outside of Dubai there is a desert with an asphalt road in it. Straight ahead you can drive and not be bothered at all. This was the perfect route for the 1968 Mustang and the host took it. What is better than driving a muscle car out in the open without speed limits? Almost nothing and that’s why there is that wide smile on the host’s face.

A 347 engine with the fuel injection under the hood, there is the T5 tranny and the result is the ultimate American muscle car being driven in Dubai. Hearing that engine roar on the road you would know that something big is coming in your way. But probably there is another muscle in Dubai that can pair with this one too.
